Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of registration related experience or 3+ years in customer service.
• Solid communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ensures data integrity for patient demographics, insurance and admission information.
• Verifies patient insurance using various methods.
• Supports reimbursement by applying payer requirements and guidelines.
• Covers in Admitting or Emergency Department when needed as directed.
• Documents accurate information on all patient accounts for workflow.
• Assists patients with questions regarding registration, insurance eligibility and admission.
• Collects insurance copays from patients.
• Maintains professionalism and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
