Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Registers patient accounts, insurance information, and ensures authorizations are valid.
• Works across ER, Admitting and Scheduling Office and provides switchboard coverage as needed.
• Verifies insurance eligibility, benefits, and mailing addresses for admissions and outpatient accounts.
• Coordinates bed assignments with care teams and notifies ED/physicians of bed availability.
