UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking a part-time Patient Access Specialist in Hinsdale, IL. The 24-hour weekly schedule includes daytime shifts, with duties spanning patient registration, insurance verification, and data entry.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Registers patients and completes clinical and financial data accurately and courteously.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and documents in electronic records.
• Collects patient portions before or at service and resolves billing issues with the Central Business Office.
• Maintains confidentiality and provides excellent customer service to patients and staff.
• Performs daily tasks and supports other Patient Access areas as needed.
