Job summary

UChicago Medicine is seeking a Part-Time Patient Case Specialist for the Onsite Patient Access Services team in the greater Chicagoland area. You will perform pre-admission, admission, verification, pre-certification and related financial duties with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

Evening and rotating weekend shifts are required. Strong communication and math skills are essential, with a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze patient financial data and determine third-party payor requirements.
• Document all account activity for accurate billing and liability.

• Cross-train to all Admission Services functions and support senior management.
