Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients in a busy OB/GYN practice. You’ll verify demographics, collect insurance and payment information, and schedule appointments while maintaining a welcoming front desk presence.

You will handle EMR data entry in eCW, assist patients with billing questions, and ensure the lobby remains tidy and efficient. Experience in medical offices is preferred, especially OB/GYN settings.

• Must have exceptional customer service experience and a true desire to help others while providing a positive patient experience at every encounter.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a high-volume setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; dependable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, prompt manner.
• Collect demographics and update patient profile for scheduling and billing.
• Scan insurance cards, IDs, and HIPAA-related documents into the EMR system (eCW).
• Collect payments and assist with billing concerns while meeting time-of-service goals.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments and verify insurance eligibility prior to visits.
• Ensure checkout processes and lobby areas are organized and tidy, handling follow-ups as needed.
