Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Patient Service Representative and Insurance Verifier for Rehab Services. You will handle outpatient pre-registrations, registrations, charge capture, and data entry with care and accuracy.

You will verify insurance, manage patient information, and support clinicians by coordinating schedules and documents, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and courteous communication with patients and families.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associates Degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required if off-site location.
• 1–2 years of registration, scheduling, or customer service in healthcare preferred.
• Knowledge of health insurances, medical terminology and anatomy preferred.
• Strong data entry and keyboarding skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients in a courteous, professional manner.
• Greets and registers patients and collects required data.
• Pre-register and register patients with necessary information.
• Analyze and record data; enter into hospital systems.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and proper documentation.
• Process insurance verification and medical necessity coding.
• Explain and secure necessary signatures; collect MSP forms when applicable.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Support training of new staff and assist with special projects.
