Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative and Insurance Verifier for Park Center in Glenview, IL. This role supports patient intake, benefits verification, and pre-certifications in a fast-paced rehab setting.

Rotating shifts with daytime/evening hours; full-time position with extensive team collaboration across Rehab Services. Experience in healthcare registration and scheduling is preferred, along with strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in business or healthcare preferred.
• Knowledge of health insurance, medical terminology, and anatomy preferred.
• Strong data entry, keyboarding, and Microsoft Office skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze patient demographics and verify benefits with providers, insurers, and carriers to support timely reimbursement.
• Perform pre-certification notification and complete documentation for submission to payers.
• Research pre-certification denials and identify missing authorizations or referrals.
• Confirm referral requirements for plans and obtain referrals from physicians offices as needed.
• Assist with therapy scheduling and utilize EMR queues to meet productivity metrics.
• May assist therapists with patient care, inventory, and equipment cleaning.
