Qualifications

• Certification in Patient Access preferred but not required.
• Healthcare experience in patient registration, insurance verification, or customer service is preferred.
• Experience with EHR and scheduling software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify personal, financial, and insurance information for accuracy.
• Input demographic and insurance details into the EHR system.
• Ensure all required forms are completed accurately and on time.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility before appointments or procedures.
• Obtain prior authorization for procedures or services as required.
• Schedule patient appointments based on physician availability and patient needs.
• Explain co-pays, deductibles, and insurance benefits before service delivery.
• Assist patients with payment options and setting up plans or financial assistance.
