Qualifications

• Requires at least a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with patient registration systems is preferred.
• Strong communication, data entry and cash handling skills required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule outpatient procedures and manage department scheduling.
• Gather demographic, guarantor, and insurance information; enter into registration system.
• Answer patient questions, triage requests, and communicate about financial options.
• Read and implement policies related to HIPAA, COBRA, and other regulations.
