The position involves obtaining demographic and insurance information, verifying eligibility, collecting payments, and coordinating follow-up appointments with providers to ensure smooth patient flow.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years registration or face-to-face customer service in a healthcare setting.
• Must maintain HIPAA, EMTALA and financial counseling knowledge.
• Certifications such as CHAA, CPAR, CRCR or equivalent upon hire.

• Utilizes patient identification and demographic data accurately.
• Obtains insurance information and verifies eligibility.
• Collects payments including current liabilities and ABN related amounts.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and coordinates with providers.
