Augusta Health is seeking a Patient Access Pre‑Visit Supervisor to oversee scheduling, pre‑registration, and insurance verification within our Centralized Call Center. You will guide a team, balance staffing, and ensure accurate data entry to support timely billing and patient flow.

In this role, you’ll enforce policies, train staff, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with clinical and admin teams to deliver an exceptional patient experience in a fast-paced hospital setting in Fishersville, VA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CHAA certification preferred or required per role.
• Five years healthcare-related experience including health insurance knowledge.
• Two years in a leadership role such as Team Lead.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and meet Virginia state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise personnel and operations of Pre-Visit Services.
• Maintain staff schedules to meet call volumes and overtime control.
• Train staff in scheduling, pre-registration, and insurance verification systems.
• Collaborate with hospital departments to implement scheduling and check-in policies.
• Ensure data accuracy in scheduling and pre-registration for KPIs and billing.
