Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Patient Access professional to coordinate scheduling, preregistration, and financial clearance. You will verify demographics, confirm benefits, and help patients understand their financial responsibilities while delivering a positive first impression.

You will gather data, assist in authorization and referrals, and support coordination with physician offices and payors.

Formación

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Two years of related experience preferred, in medical or financial services settings.
• Call/Service Center experience preferred; HFMA or CRC certification encouraged.

Responsabilidades

• Performs scheduling and preregistration functions, verifies demographics and benefits.
• Verifies insurance information and authorization/referral requirements for physician offices.
• Calculates patient financial responsibilities and records in ADT system; handles post payments.
• Delivers positive patient experience and maintains relationships with AHN leadership, staff and external contacts.
• Supports team with productivity improvements, training, and issue resolution as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
