Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management seeks a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and families. You will ensure accurate demographic, insurance, and payment information, resolve scheduling questions, and support the care team to streamline patient flow.

You will manage EPIC work ques and inbasket messages, assist with MyChart enrollment, and help maintain a high level of patient satisfaction while protecting PHI and adhering to policies.

Qualifications

• Experience handling patient check-in/out and collecting demographic and insurance information.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out for medical visits.
• Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and help with scheduling appointments.
• Assist patients with enrolling in and using MyChart.
• Enter and validate patient demographic, insurance, and financial data for accurate registration.
• Support the care team by communicating essential information and coordinating referrals.
