Capital Health is seeking a dedicated Registration Clerk to accurately register patients, verify benefits, and collect demographics to ensure smooth claims processing. You will work with multiple departments to obtain referrals, authorizations, and accurate information while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires basic computer skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• One year experience in healthcare setting or customer service.
• Medical terminology and medical insurance knowledge preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Follows payor requirements for in/out of network plans and performs verification of benefits.
• Performs demographic, insurance and registration data collection accurately.
• Delivers service with professionalism and respects patients.
• Collaborates with departments and staff to obtain essential registration details.
• Keeps documentation and forms in the EMR up to date and compliant.
