Responsibilities

• Obtain and enter accurate demographic and insurance information in the EHR.
• Handle cashiering, collecting co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance.
• Perform medical necessity checks to ensure Medicare compliance.
• Maintain HIPAA and EMTALA compliance in all interactions.
• Provide excellent customer service and effective communication with patients, physicians, and staff.
