Job summary

Men's Health Foundation is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to join our front desk, checkout, and call center operations in West Hollywood, CA. You’ll manage patient registration, scheduling, calls, and insurance verification to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and teamwork mindset.
• Familiarity with EMR applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strict patient confidentiality in line with HIPAA regulations.
• Deliver outstanding customer service in alignment with standards.
• Handle patient interactions—calls and visits—professionally and courteously.
• Address inquiries and resolve minor complaints with empathy.
• Coordinate with providers and staff to support patient care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of services and events relevant to patient needs.
• Welcome patients and guide them through registration using the EMR system.
• Scan and upload documents into the EMR; verify demographics.
• Assist patients with forms and documentation; manage payments at service time.
• Monitor patient flow from registration to checkout and ensure safety and cleanliness.
