Job summary

Hackley Community Care is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients in Muskegon, MI. You will register patients, verify demographics and insurance, schedule visits, and collect copayments while maintaining confidentiality and a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

Under the Patient Access Manager, you will support a multidisciplinary team, ensure accurate records, provide forms, and help patients navigate care with professional, courteous service in a busy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of medical office or healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect/update demographic and insurance information.
• Schedule appointments and collect copayments and patient balances.
• Obtain information needed for medical documentation and ensure forms are provided.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to privacy regulations.
