Quincy Medical Group is seeking a Patient Access Representative in Mt. Sterling, IL to greet patients, manage check-in/out, and schedule appointments. You will ensure accurate patient information and smooth clinic operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, detail-oriented data entry, and proficient use of EMR and scheduling systems. Training and growth opportunities accompany a supportive team environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service, reception, scheduling, or healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter and maintain patient information.
• Comfort using computers and learning scheduling and electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a friendly and professional approach.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients and assist with check-in and check-out.
• Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments.
• Accurately enter and update patient demographic, insurance, and registration information.
• Verify insurance information and collect required payments when applicable.
• Answer incoming calls, assist patients with questions, and route messages to the appropriate team member.
• Maintain accurate patient records and complete registration and scheduling tasks within the electronic medical record.
• Communicate with providers, clinical staff, and other departments to help coordinate patient needs.
• Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality throughout all interactions.
• Support daily clinic operations and provide a positive, helpful experience for patients and families.
