BHMG Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator for the Dutchmans Lane location. The role includes scheduling patient appointments, greeting and registering patients, and verifying demographics and insurance information.

You will collect co-pays, prepare deposits, relay messages, and provide general clerical support to the office. The position emphasizes friendly patient interactions, accuracy, and teamwork within a renowned Kentucky health system.

Qualifications

• Computer skills required.
• Medical terminology skills preferred.
• Prior medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient appointments and reminder calls.
• Greets and registers all patients.
• Verifies demographic and insurance information and updates records.
• Collects co-pays and other payments and prepares daily deposit & reconciliation report.
• Relays phone messages to providers and logs them.
• Provides clerical support: typing correspondence, sorting/delivering mail, processing faxes, ordering supplies.
