The role involves pre-admitting, admitting, and registering patients, interviewing for demographics and financial information, verifying benefits, and collecting patient portions while mentoring new associates. It requires meticulous information gathering and clear communication to support a positive patient journey.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Healthcare office experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.

Responsabilités

• Consistently performs the registration process through timely, accurate, and courteous completion of patient clinical and financial data.
• Utilizes technology to verify and document insurance eligibility of patients accurately, efficiently, and timely according to established standards.
• Collects patient portion from patients prior to or at time of service (following MSE).
• Obtains signatures, verifies accuracy of information, and scans documents into electronic patient record as applicable.
• Maintains an accuracy rate within the departmental guidelines.
• Demonstrates the importance of quality and integrity of capturing patient information with regards to patient confidentiality.
