What You’ll Do

• Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service while managing check-in, check-out, registration, and scheduling activities.
• Verify demographic, insurance, referral, and authorization information to ensure accurate patient records and efficient care coordination.
• Schedule appointments, maintain EMR documentation, prepare charts, and support billing and referral workflows.
• Perform insurance eligibility verification, obtain prior authorizations, and assist patients with benefits education and financial counseling.
• Answer and route phone calls, coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical teams, and provide cross-coverage across departments as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: High School diploma or GED required.
• College coursework or degree preferred.
• Experience: At least 1 year of customer service, patient registration, scheduling, medical office, or healthcare access experience strongly preferred.
• Skills: Strong computer proficiency required, including experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA requirements.
