Job summary

Regional Medical Imaging, P.C. is seeking a Check-In Representative to manage patient arrivals, verify demographic and insurance details, and input data into RIS and other systems.

You will assist with records requests, collect payments, and support scheduling while maintaining patient privacy and a courteous, professional demeanor. The role requires excellent communication, multitasking in a fast-paced clinic environment, and flexibility to travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Preferred: 1-year certificate from college or technical school.
• Preferred: 1-year experience in a similar role or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients for exams, verify DOB, insurance, and physician order.
• Enter information into Radiology Information System and scan documents.
• Assist patients with records requests while protecting privacy per HIPAA.
• Collect copays and balances; balance cash drawer and run end-of-day reports.
• Direct callers, schedule appointments, and support other departments as needed.
• Maintain professional conduct and ensure CDC-compliant PPE use.
