Ensemble Health Partners in Marion, VA is seeking an entry-level Patient Access Associate Specialist to join on-site at Ballad - Smyth County Community Hospital. Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• CRCR certification required within 6 months of hire (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate MRNs and perform medical necessity/compliance checks with excellent customer service.
• Operate telephone switchboard and route calls.
• Explain and distribute patient forms and education documents.
• Pre-register patient accounts prior to visits and collect demographics/insurance information.
• Screen eligibility using insurance verification systems and support POS/billing processes.
• Audit accounts and provide data to leadership to ensure accuracy.
