Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking an entry-level Patient Access Specialist to join our Ballad on-site team in Tennessee. You will perform admitting duties, verify insurance, collect demographic data, and support POS and billing processes while delivering exceptional patient service.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least 1 year of customer service experience; CRCR certification within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• CRCR certification within 6 months of hire (Company Paid).

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity / compliance checks while providing excellent customer service.
• Operate the telephone switchboard and relay calls with compassion and professionalism.
• Use quality auditing and reporting systems to correct accounts and provide data to leadership.
• Pre-register patient accounts and collect demographics, insurance and financial information.
• Explain consent forms and distribute patient education documents.
• Review eligibility responses and code insurance plans to support POS and billing processes.
• Screen medical necessity using ABN software and distribute required forms.
