Qualifications

• Demographic, billing, and clinical data must be collected accurately.
• Effective English communication (read, write, speak, understand).
• Ability to complete required competency checklists within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Verifies insurance benefits and obtains precertification/authorization as necessary.
• Determines and accepts required payments (co-pays, deductibles) or refers to financial counseling.
• Distributes and explains forms and documents to patients and families.
• Protects patient privacy and confidentiality in all registration activities.
• Works alternate shifts/areas as needed to support department operations.
