Job summary

Life point Health's Frye Regional Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking a Patient Services Representative to greet patients, schedule and manage check-in/out, and collect patient balances. Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient referral process and obtains pre-certifications as requested by provider.
• Greets patients and handles check-in, check-out, scheduling and message management.
• Collects and posts co-pays, deductibles and past due balances at the time of service.
• Performs scheduling, registration, pre-admission and admission at the physician practice.
• Performs reception and discharge functions.
• Ensures complete and accurate patient demographic information and liability collection.
