Formación

• High School diploma preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Rapid learning and navigation of multiple software systems.
• Effective English communication (read, write, speak, and understand).
• Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain and accurately enter patient demographic, billing, and clinical data.
• Explain forms and educational handouts to patients and families.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain precertification/authorization as necessary.
• Determine and accept payments (co-pays, deductibles) or refer to financial counseling.
• Communicate professionally in-person and by phone with clear instructions.
• Protect patient privacy and confidentiality in all registration activities.
• Participate in performance improvement and required education.
• Work alternate shifts/areas as needed to support department operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
