Job summary

Adventist Health is seeking a patient registration professional to ensure timely and accurate registration for patients. The role includes interviewing patients for account information, verifying insurance, calculating and collecting patient liability, and obtaining necessary signatures for treatment.

Responsibilities also include attaching physician orders to patient records, printing and collating paperwork, and escorting patients as needed to the appropriate area.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent required or preferred.
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check for physician orders and attach them to patient medical records to ensure appropriate tests.
• Verify insurance and research to ensure accuracy when verifying insurance; enter authorization information as needed.
• Follows guidelines and instructions from senior staff.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
