Qualifications

• Must be BLS certified or must provide BLS certificate within 30 days of hire.
• New hires must obtain M.A.B. certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients or guests and direct them to the proper destination.
• Document financial arrangements in patient accounts and notify managers of problem accounts.
• Collect deposits on self-paying patients and co-payments; discuss financial responsibility with patients.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and handle confidential information appropriately.
• Complete patient admissions records and obtain necessary signatures and forms.
• Meet the department productivity goal of registering a minimum of 20 patients per shift.
