FMOL Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative 1 for the PBC Children's Hospital to register patients in Epic, verify insurance, and collect payments while delivering best-in-class patient experience. The role supports referrals, MyChart access, and accurate record updates.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of relevant experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, and strong customer service and computer skills.

Qualifications

• 6 months of relevant experience in medical office, hospital, billing, registrations or accounting.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient computer skills, ability to learn Epic during introductory period.

Responsabilités

• Register patients in Epic accurately and efficiently, guiding patient flow in the clinic.
• Review accounts to determine financial responsibility and arrange payment plans as needed.
• Assist with referrals to other providers/services per payor requirements.
• Provide patient access to information (e.g., MyChart).
• Update patient records and charges as required.
• Support clinic operations and cash handling per policy.
• Support performance excellence initiatives and training for teammates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
