Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, greeting them warmly and collecting accurate demographic and insurance information. You will demonstrate HIPAA compliance while guiding patients through registration, check-in, and billing inquiries.

You will manage the EMR system input, verify eligibility, and schedule follow ups. A high level of organization, reliability, and excellent communication are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have exceptional customer service experience and a desire to help others while providing a positive patient experience.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a high-volume setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy; comfortable with EMR systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; dependable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and obtain demographics; verify information for accurate scheduling and billing.
• Collect payments or assist with billing concerns while meeting time-of-service goals.
• Manage insurance cards, IDs, and documents in the EMR (HIPAA compliant).
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments; check out patients at end of visit.
