Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registration Representative to perform accurate check-in and admissions in hospital or ED settings. You will handle in-person, phone, and virtual registrations, verify demographics, collect insurance data, and assist patients with forms and co-pays.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant experience, strong communication, and familiarity with scheduling systems. HFMA certification is preferred. Non sponsorship applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively; good written and verbal communication.
• Prior desk/appointment or secretarial experience and scheduling systems knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately in hospital/ED settings via in-person, phone, or virtual registrations.
• Verify demographics, collect insurance data, obtain signatures, and collect co-pays or share of cost; ensure patient safety with proper identification.
