Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registration Representative to manage the check-in/admissions process for patients in the hospital or ED. Responsibilities include verifying demographics, collecting insurance data, creating accounts, obtaining consents, and guiding patients through self-registration.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time position with PM/Overnight shifts and weekend rotation, located at Mayo

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HFMA certification preferred.
• Strong reading and written communication skills required.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills; good phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately at check-in/admissions in hospital or ED, via in-person, phone or virtual channels.
• Verify demographics, collect insurance data, create accounts, obtain signatures, and provide required forms or letters.
• Assist with patient self-registration and collect indicated co-pays or cost shares; adhere to safety protocols.
