Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively; good written and verbal skills.
• Knowledge of scheduling systems; experience with phone etiquette and patient intake.
• Experience with Epic RC/EMR is preferred; HFMA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Register patients in hospital/ED, verify demographics and insurance data.
• Collect co-pays and guide patients through self-registration when needed.
• Ensure patient safety with positive identification protocols and required consents.
• Support 24/7 operations; adapt to rotating weekends/holidays.
