Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registration Representative to handle accurate check-in and admissions for patients in the hospital or ED. Role involves in-person, phone, or virtual registrations, verifying demographics, collecting insurance data, and obtaining necessary signatures.

Candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant experience. Prior exposure to Epic RC/EMR is preferred, with HFMA certification a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of relevant experience required.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively; good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of scheduling systems and procedures; prior desk/secretarial experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Register patients accurately in hospital or ED settings via in-person, phone, or virtual methods.
• Verify patient demographics and collect insurance data; obtain signatures and required forms.
• Ensure patient safety using positive ID protocols and obtain required consents.
• Assist patients with self-registration and collect applicable co-payments or shares of cost.
• Adhere to quality assurance guidelines and productivity standards.
