Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a patient access specialist to support appointment check-in, verify demographics, and communicate with patients about costs and coverage. You will read insurance responses and ensure proper primary/secondary/tertiary assignment at each encounter.

In this role, you will handle disclosures, release medical records, schedule follow-ups, and maintain confidentiality under HIPAA. You will work in an office setting, contributing to timely patient flow and accurate billing
