Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring several Patient Access Specialists for a large healthcare company based in Overland Park, KS. You will assess patients’ needs, resolve issues, and triage information, coordinating with Shared Solutions and Specialty Pharmacy.

This intermediate role emphasizes accurate data entry, strong customer service, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. A CRM background such as Salesforce is a plus and healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong, accurate data entry skills.
• Experience in high‑pressure, time‑sensitive situations with problem solving.
• Proficient computer skills including Office, email and web apps.
• Ability to multi‑task in a high‑volume environment and accept feedback.
• Previous experience in healthcare/pharmacy or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and accurate account creation.
• Provide customer service support to overflow help for other teams.
• Update patient information in accounts sourced from Med Billers.
• Remove patient access barriers and identify resources as needed.
• Coordinate prescription workflows with Specialty Pharmacy partners.
