UC Health is seeking an Access Representative for the Admitting & Registration Department in West Chester, OH. This part-time role involves front-desk patient check-in, collecting demographics, insurance details, and co-pays, and ensuring accurate registration data to support timely reimbursement.

You will verify identity, complete MSP questionnaires, and maintain confidentiality while delivering compassionate customer service in a busy hospital setting.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Analytical skills; able to problem solve.
• Computer Literacy.
• Excellent communication, problem solving skills, and ability to deal with customers who are often adversarial.
• Ability to interact independently to resolve customer service issues.
• 1-3 years of experience in registration, billing, customer service, or managed care organization preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Create Epic accounts from scheduling appointment and gather demographic and insurance information to create, update and secure accounts.
• Screens and completes required documentation and prioritizes insurance coverage as primary, secondary, and tertiary.
• Completes required MSP questionnaires for all appropriate patients.
• Answer questions regarding patient's appointment or transfer to the appropriate department.
• Code Daily Worklist and organize prioritization according to standards; ensure timely access to accounts.
