Responsibilities

• Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital.
• Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity / compliance checks.
• Collect insurance information and process physician orders; use overlay tool while delivering excellent service.
• Explain general consent for treatment and distribute patient education documents.
• Explain and document ABN and insurance verification results to support POS and billing processes.
