Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners in Norton, VA seeks a Patient Access Associate Specialist to accurately register patients and support the revenue cycle on-site at Ballad - Norton Community Hospital.

You will ensure data integrity, explain consent forms, verify eligibility, collect insurance information, and support point-of-service collections with strong customer service. Requires 1+ year experience, a high school diploma, and CRCR certification within six months (paid by the company).

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiences.
• High School Diploma/GED Required

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate MRNs, complete medical necessity/compliance checks, collect insurance information, process physician orders, and use an overlay tool with excellent customer service.
• Operate the telephone switchboard for calls as applicable.
• Adhere to policies and provide compassionate customer service.
• Meet point-of-service goals as assigned.
• Perform quality audits and report data to leadership, ensuring account accuracy and timeliness.
