Job summary

CityMD is seeking a Patient Service Representative to warmly welcome and assist incoming patients, register them, and coordinate with the team for timely patient turnaround. You will respond to questions with urgency and kindness, handling all paperwork related to patient registration and insurance verification.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Bilingual skills are a plus depending on site location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in high-volume/high-intensity service environments preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong teamwork.
• Typing speed of about 55 wpm is preferred.
• Bilingual skills may be required or preferred depending on site location.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients.
• Register patients and coordinate intake and appointments.
• Enter/update patient information in the system.
• Assist patients with completing paperwork.
• Scan, update and file medical records.
• Answer phone calls promptly and politely.
• Verify insurance information and address questions (liaise with Billing).
• Handle cash and co-payments accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every patient.
• Inform site manager of wait times and inquiries.
