Responsibilities

• Pre-register and schedule patient appointments accurately.
• Handle registrations and schedule changes.
• Input demographic and financial information in hospital systems.
• Verify benefits and obtain authorizations from payers.
• Explain insurance benefits, co-pays and self-pay amounts.
• Check in and check out patients.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure patient management.
