Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking an Ambulatory Services Representative III in Endoscopy Administration to coordinate patient access tasks including OR scheduling, registration, insurance verification, appointment scheduling and charge entry. The role includes front-end customer service and a variety of administrative duties to support department operations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's or Associate degree with relevant experience or a HS/GED with extensive experience, plus strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 1–2 years relevant experience, or Associate’s with 3+ years, or HS/GED with 5+ years experience.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills; ability to handle confidential information and customer issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate OR scheduling, front-end customer service, patient registration, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and charge entry.
• Provide administrative support to Endoscopy Administration, including credentialing coordination and forms processing.
• Handle phones, filing, photocopying, mailings, and related clerical duties; maintain patient-focused service standards.
