Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 1–2 years relevant work experience, or
• Associates degree plus at least 3 years relevant experience, or
• HS/GED with 5+ years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling for surgical cases and pre-op appointments.
• Process pre-certifications and pre-authorization work lists for operative cases.
• Coordinate medical clearance documentation.
• Manage physician OR calendars and OR block time.
• Notify Pre-Surgical Services of schedule changes.
• Handle reception, MPI, registration and visit management tasks.
• Perform insurance verification and co-payment collection.
• Complete pre-authorization, referrals and referrals reconciliation.
• Billing charge entry and related edits and reconciliations.
