Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking an Ambulatory Services Representative III to coordinate patient access functions including OR scheduling, front-end customer service, patient registration, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and charge entry within the Hematology - Oncology Clinic.

The role is full-time, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 1–2 years relevant work experience.
• Associates degree plus at least 3 years relevant experience.
• HS/GED with 5+ years relevant experience.
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and familiarity with hospital registration & billing systems.
