Job summary

BMCHS is seeking an Ambulatory Services Representative III for the Endoscopy Administration department. This full-time role focuses on patient access, including OR scheduling, front-end service, registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and charge entry.

The role requires solid English communication, customer service skills, confidentiality, and proficiency with MS Office and hospital systems. Knowledge of credentialing processes is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus 1–2 years relevant work experience.
  • Associates degree plus at least 3 years relevant experience.
  • HS/GED with 5+ years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate operations for patient access including OR scheduling, front-end service, patient registration, insurance verification and appointment scheduling.
  • Handle charge entry and related administrative duties for Endoscopy Administration.
  • Assist with physician credentialing, forms, phones, filing, and reporting.
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal/health information and balance multiple priorities.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and hospital registration/billing systems effectively.

Education

Bachelor's degree + 1-2 years relevant work experience
Associates degree + at least 3 years relevant experience
HS/GED with 5+ years relevant experience
