Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with insurance companies and obtaining authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages patient check-in and check-out procedures, including payment collection and reconciliation.
• Maintains patient demographic and insurance information in the CS-Link system, ensuring high accuracy and data integrity.
• Schedules and coordinates patient appointments effectively to ensure smooth patient flow and may handle special scheduling requests (e.g., echo, EKG, Zio, labs).
• Coordinates referrals and authorizations, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
• Participates in departmental huddles and staff meetings, possibly leading discussions or presentations.
• Manages department data/workflows using lean methodology.
• Adheres to infection prevention standards and HIPAA confidentiality guidelines.
