Job summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a Patient Service Representative II to provide front-office support in the PFSP/Cancer Rehabilitation Clinic in Los Angeles. You will handle high volumes of patient coordination, scheduling, and communications while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

In this role you will cross-cover multiple services, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and coordinate referrals, appointments, and messages to providers, contributing to efficient patient flow and outstanding care.

Responsibilities

• Answering and triaging calls- directing to appropriate individuals or departments.
• Scheduling and authorization for appointments, surgeries, and ancillary services.
• Perform insurance verification functions.
• Process and track all incoming and outgoing referrals.
• Sorting and deposition of mail and patient information in compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations following Cedars-Sinai standards.
• Assist in all work assignments.
