You will verify eligibility in real time, inform patients of patient financial responsibilities, and collect payments at point of service while preparing required paperwork.

The role emphasizes accurate scheduling, coordinating with therapists, and ensuring proper documentation and physician orders accompany services.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED is required.
• Associate degree or equivalent demonstrated work experience in lieu of degree preferred.
• Two or more years' experience in physician's office, clinic, hospital business office, financial service setting or related area with customer service and data collection helpful.

Responsabilités

• Performs patient scheduling, registration and real-time eligibility verification.
• Collects payments from patients and informs about co-pays, deductibles and co-insurance.
• Provides instructions to patients and prepares and distributes necessary forms for treatment.
