You will reference Trinity Health policies, maintain confidentiality, and assist hospital users, patients, families, and physicians with accurate information and tailored guidance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Knowledge of diagnostic and procedural coding preferred.
• Ability to explain insurance benefits and payer requirements.
• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for outpatient and inpatient services.
• Verify insurance eligibility and pre‑certifications where applicable.
• Collect patient financial liability payments and ensure adherence to financial requirements.
• Provide information to patients, families, and physician offices with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Prepare and distribute operational reports and support performance improvement initiatives.
